david saw loads of large oaks over the weekend at shuttleworth house grounds whilst camping there for the hot rod nationals.

Really nice shot David, it reminds me of when i worked on a large estate similar to yours 20 years ago.

 

The trouble is, i still cant stop eyeing up that lovely dead wood for my own fire:sneaky2:

Saw some good lightning Friday, had a willow struck in the village, at the back of some houses, apparently it blew a limb over the houses into the road (B1113 Bacton, David) I lost about 1.5hrs due to the storm, took shelter in the posh summerhouse of the client.

Some good storms on friday, a mate and I were trying to do some fencing, but took shelter in a cattle trailer when the rain got too much. Soon abandoned ship when a lightening bolt hits close by! Dont you just love the British summer!
