Need a sharper knife next time...

The white area between the buttress' next to it is softer than cheese and 12" knife went straight through, tapping the bark either side gives the familiar hollow sound. Rest of stem is ok.

Didn't take a measurement but estimate dbh to be minimum four and a half feet, increasing further up.

Tree is supposedly Napoloeonic so 200 years+.
