Dolmar still have a normal carb fortunatly :) the ignition is electronic and had been for some years yes.

The 61cc, newest 35.4 cc and an upcoming top handle 37cc type are strato engines.

As kornomaniac says normal carb

L screw normal screwdriver adjustment

Idle screw screwdriver adjustment

H screw special tuning tool

Some models have holes blocked off ,and a small number had resin in the H nodule for a short time. A few years ago :thumbup:

Is that the general situation on the Dolmars…Strato = no Cat ?

Yes some dolmar's are strato and some of the models have a cat muffler and some are old design

Ps32. Ps-35 ps-350 ps-420 ps-460 ps-500 ps-4605 ps-5105 are catylics

Ps-6100 new strato design

Ps-7310 ps-7910 are scavenging loss rejection

The ps-9010 and 115 are wild cards that don't adhere to any rules at the moment :thumbup:

Thats most of the smaller cc saws with the Cat muffler then …

Have you had your hands on a 421 ? just found the Dolmar site and noticed that saw. Not seen it talked about much. :001_smile:

No I haven't had any dealings with this model it's only sold outside of the EU

The European equivalent is the ps-420sc and apparently it's more powerful

Ahaa…so there seems to be only the ps 420 listed on the site iv looked at and no mention of the ps 420 sc. Found the sc spec elsewhere and can see its 2.2kw instead of ps 420 2.0 kw.

SC..would that be similar to Husqvarna's XP rating do you think .
