My old boss on the farm used to put all stakes to be used in an old 40 gallon drum with too cut off and they used to have a fire under it to heat it up to get it to soak right in, we used to put up around a mile of temp stock fence every year and take it out 18 months later and re use it as well as the permanent fencing those posts lasted years !

Looks good to me, bit of a tip for you too if you have rabbit problems ?

The cones the Mrs gets to put around the tree at Christmas ??? Dip them in creo and leave them to soak over night or for a day or two...

 

Stick them down the rabbit holes and tell me what happens !
