My doubled rope walker

After seeing Gerald B video of Doubled rope walker i finally got a chance to try it today. I used a basic with footloop and pantin which i already had with my SRT rope walker so i can use it on both. Srt is great for big stuff but mostly i double rope the smaller trees (up to 25 meters).

Another great tool in the "toolbox'.

The groundies promtly named it the "bicycle".

Looks like a very tidy ropewalker there Rob.Very nice gear allround too.Looks like your having fun.I really like this system and I would encourage anyone else to try it out.Its relatively cheap.It works well.Its fun.No changeovers required,no ascender backups required.Easy to get used to.Im converted.

Yes but takes a bit of getting used too after just using a pantin for so long now.

Used it again today ...looks like it will be standard kit from now on. So simple to pack up when u wont to decend.

Just loved Gerald B's cruisy style of prunning.:001_smile:
