Hi guys,

having issues with stihl 076.

Can anyone advise on where to source a workshop manual - would be much appreciated.

The issue I’m having is that after 5mins normal running, she starts to slightly over-rev and then will dip in revs, comes back again but drops off again. Leave to cool and she repeats this pattern.
starting to think it’s the coil as inlet / outlet have been checked. Any experience or ideas would appreciated.

thanks a lot...

If it’s not electrical, I had similar with an old 044 many years ago. Crank seal was on the way out which I think led to it either sucking in air into the crankcase, or blowing some of the mix out when warm. This I believe led to the odd rise in revs and drop in revs.
