Hi guys and girls sorry to ask a question that has probably been asked a hundred times but scrolling on a phone screen at half 12 is driving me nuts. Im booked in to do my cs 32 mid feb ive got cs30/31 but its more than five years old will the new course count as a refresher or will I have to cough up for that one as well. I ask because a job I was looking at has stipulated fisa compliance cheers

I would sincerely hope so as, effectively, you're both refreshing and 'up-skilling' in tree felling operations. Might be different if you were going from CS32(/33) to CS34 Windblow as its different, stating the obvious, and they (FISA) may not accept that.

We would certainly accept it for the ArbAC Scheme.

May be worth pre-empting any problems and contacting whomever if offering the job/contract...or maybe not. :001_rolleyes:

Cheers..

Paul

The FISA refresher situation seems to have been in a bit of a state of change but,

we recently did an Assisted Felling course to cover us as refreshed. Non of us had previously done that course and were told that it would count as refresher because we were 'up skilling'

In practice I have found that to some extent it depends on what the 'manager' on the job understands is needed.

Suggest you give him/her a call.
