Work Sledges

I need to make a work sledge for my pony for moving tools and equipment and looking for a bit of inspiration... So if you have made one please share pics! What materials did you use, how big, what is good about it, if you were to make it again would you change anything? etc.

Haven't built a sled but if you can get a hold of the 'heavy horse manual' it shows you the linkage used to attach the shafts to the sled , just a short chain link connection that let's the sled ride into the back of the shafts when the horse stops , sort of Indian style I believe

2 photos of the one I made. Metal runners screwed to the bottom rails plus removable side retaining bars. I did have to use some rope to secure on as it was quite steep on the way out. Not really tried on big stuff as we use a swingle to take out the logs.
