Does anyone know if the clutch cover from a Husqvarna 435 would fit a 440e? I don't like the tool less chain tensioning system on the 440e.

They look pretty much the same saws apart from the clutch cover?

You may need to change some other parts as well - consult the part lists (they are on some Husky web-sites, at least the US and the Swedish ones at the moment, likely on more of them).

No, the 440 has .325 bar and chain not 3/8 low profile, and the cylinder is ported differently so 435 1.6 KW 440 1.8 KW.

 

According to the website the 435 runs .325 chain as well so the adjuster and porting are the only differences.
