Treated myself to a 5 disc blue ray box set called 'planet earth' today, a BBc natural history/attenborough series that has been on telly. The first disc i am checking out is the 'seasonal forests' one, with the most amazing shots of trees in the pacific northwest of america; great shots of general sherman and other monster trees....all in hi-def too. There is a short bit with a guy climbing one and hanging between the upper branches of two of those monster trees. Awesome. Worth the £25 just for that sequence i reckoned!
