Granberg ripping 3/8 .063 114 drive links

Oregon chisel 3/8 .063 114 drive links

Oregon chisel multicut 3/8 .063 114 drive links

Oregon ripping 3/8 .063 114 drive links

Oregon semi chisel 3/8 .063 114 drive links

Stihl chisel 3/8 .063 114 drive links

Stihl micro chisel 3/8 .063 114 drive links

Stihl ripping 3/8 .063 114 drive links

Not sure which is the one for the job so looking to your knowledge and experience.

Thanks in advance.

You need one of the three ripping chains. All have their pros and cons. Oregon is cheapest and works fine; some find Stihl lasts longer between sharpenings but it costs a bit more; Granberg is more expensive but cuts a bit faster, leaves a slightly smoother finish and takes a bit less power from the saw, however you need a grinder to sharpen it as the cut down teeth are often too hard to sharpen by file.

hi, I got my mill about a year ago and am very pleased with the Granberg chain, as agg said you need a grinder or a diamond file to keep it sharp, I can recommend the Granberg precision grinder, very accurate and saves a lot of time, great tool. cheers
