David, I know very little about arb work but here is my two pence worth.

You can obviously operate a computer, so do a search and get your self a web site. It can cost almost nothing. All you will need to buy is your domain name http://www.swaffhamarbandgarden.co.uk, (£6.98 for 2 years)or something like that.

It costs next to nothing to have a website and everyone uses the web now instead of yellow pages.

Business cards - Vistaprint are the cheapest and are fine for when you are starting up

On both of the above, it is critical that spelling is correct, get a friend or family member to check it if needed.

hope this helps

Tipper makes life lot easier

I would but it also costs more.I presume that's why a 2wd pickup was mentioned.they are cheaper to run and insure than 4 wheel drive.

Life is not easy when you first start! I had a Mazda demio (11 years old) and a 4by3 trailer that was about 35years old (camping trailer from when I was a baby), a borrowed champion mower a b and q strimmer and a homelite blower as well as a few hand-tools.

Life was tough to start with work hard and you will make it.

Car insurance was ridiculous when I started driving 12 years ago (God that makes me feel old) so I hate to think how bad it is now. My first car was a 1986 Land Rover 90 and it cost £1130 p/a in 2003 when I was 17
