shipping a chainsaw to NZ

Has anyone done so recently or something similar? want to send over my 201 after i get back... Had any problems or got any tips?

What's stopping you chucking the bar away, dismantling it a bit and taking it on as luggage?

they are very funny about plant matter..... steam clean and declare it

 

they might even want to radiate it!

 

if you don't declare it and you get caught you'll get your butt roasted.

Not worth the hassle and Ive got other stuff to put in my luggage... they are hot on bringing stuff in in luggage thats why I want to ship it:001_smile:

Your not wrong, I was wondering if it is worth the hassle... shes really dirty tbh

More the reason to steam it and get it shiny clean, you can always get it dirty again

Get rid of it here and buy another in NZ. Shipping would take weeks to arrive and air freight would costmore than it's worth.

Climbing kit will come back with me, I've had that in my luggage before. Everything went through the washing machine prior will have to look into shipping costs might have to sell it and buy again..

How does it run with it being a 201? if you decide to get rid when home I might have it off you My 2004 200T is still going strong but could do with another back-up saw, can never have enough

Runs well, hence why I am keen to ship it if it's cost and stress effective.. will bear in mind though
