i just put my waders over my chainsaw trousers yes feet not protected but legs are downside was it hot work and very restricted. if i was doing a lot of river work invest in a pair of chainsaw waders who makes them no idear

Most of my tree work is in the water these days and we use waders with chainsaw wellies on the bottom or a dry suit with chainsaw wellies attached, you still need to whear your chainsaw trousers under them tho.

 

where do you get your waders with saw wellies on the bottom, looks like just what we are after?

We normally use neoprene chest waders with steel toe capped boots on over the top. You could use old chainsaw boots if you wanted but you would need to buy them a couple of sizes bigger. The waders are very good and quite resident to thorn's but can be hot during the summer but as most of our river work is this time of year I don't mind wearing them at all.
