bare root tree planting delay

Iam waiting for a delivery of 60 bare root leyandi they were dug on the 8th december but delivery company has still not delivered was supposed to be next working day, when i get them monday or tuesday hopefully will they still be ok to plant if i dampen. Any advice welcome as I dont usually do a lot of planting.

Yeah they should be fine as long as the roots haven't been frozen, water them in the bags if dry just before you plant them but don't let them freeze

If you have not rang supplier. Then let them now and go from there but get confirmation in righting so know cop out on there side.
