Fuel consumption of a 175kw Batch Boiler

We eventually settled on the unical airex boiler after travelling around looking at various makes,it's a good simple solid quiet running boiler made by one of Europes biggest boiler manufacturers.Im guessing the 175kw boiler you mention is GF and we looked at 5 of them all of which had issues with smoke belching out of them, not recommended near houses!Which is a shame because there is a lot to like about them.Yes we do feed our two unicals with 0.5m larch logs although we are hoping to feed them soon with1.2m billets which is the recommended length for max efficiency.

That's a refined Italian boiler ! Quality and impressive efficiency figures, so I can clearly see why you chose it.

What Kw is it? Did you get it from Mibec in Whitchurch and can you remember the retail price? Why did you buy 2? Perhaps 1 alone was short on Kw to utilise a 40ft container?

I was investigating a Farm 2000 175Kw batch boiler, however knowhere near the level of yours.

Thanks for the info.
