can't remember. it could be but could also just be any length thats long enough to pull it down

 

Have you found much wear inside the running bowline where the rope might rub?

Yeah for sure.. It would have taken me at least 30 seconds to make that changeover in a panic striken state... Probably would have got a lot more stings. However the beauty of the ground based rescue for exploration type climbing is they could be lowering me down while I was changing over if I had been on ascenders:thumbup: Not so useful in a work environment.
