how much would you offer for one of these? Somebody I know offered me one and I need to come with some sort of price. It seems to be in a good condition, I don't want to insult by offering too little but also I don't want to spend more than I have too:001_smile:

I'd be insulted by a £50 offer for a working saw 038 and 039 still fetch good money for old saws why would something bigger be worth so much less ? If he'll take £50 snatch his hand off, 80+CCmust come in useful at times if you need to use a bigger bar for anything but I'd say at least 3 times that if it has a decent size bar and chain.

I recently paid 180 for an 056 Super. It lean seized on its second day with me. Parts aren't readily available, it's heavy, slow, basic. I'd agree with £50. Maybe £100 if it's proper mint with a decent bar and chain.
