Hi 'Erbs', THANK YOU for coming along and good to hear you enjoyed the biscuits

Do remind me of that very 'sharp' question you asked about LOLER n whether something was "should" or "must" as I don't think I followed it up.

Cheers..:thumbup1:

im not %100 on this but i think it was about daily check of climbing kit, whether it should be or must be checked according to Industry guidelines on a daily basis or weekly .cheers paul

Hi, thanks for the reminder.

Having just re-read the LOLER ACOP (updated version) whilst the regs. don't use the word 'must' in relation to pre-use inspections, neither do they use the word 'should' but the associated guidance does and clearly implies 'must'.

So, does that answer your question? :confused1::biggrin:

Suffice to say you should always undertake pre-use inspections of your climbing kit etc. prior to use, and of course it's in your best interest to do so, most importantly :thumbup1:

Take care out there n hope to see you again sooooooon.

TTFN..

Paul
