Stress control broken ???

Advixce received from others is sound. check operation of switches especially bar stop

Other thing to check is the no stress unit operation,

The sensor on the no stress should be as close as possible with the trigger wheel or ring gear, gap for sensor should be a 'fag paper' away for sensor to register.

 

Check SRB 500 relay is working correctly as symptoms may be relay chattering

 

To take no stress unit from circuit you must connect the 2 x bullet point connectors together, located in the electric box, then try the unit, if it works it may be that the no stress has given up or the no stress sensor is down or lastly the no stress has gone down, if you need further help contact me at timberwolf technical support but I will need the serial number of the unit to assist in the search for the answer.

I have had the same problem with my old 150, the chassis that the relays behind the control switches sit in, had come away from the back of the box, I glued them back and for good measure, I reinforced the mend with some silicone around the edges of the chassis.

 

Works fine now.

Thank you all who helped out. I really do appreciate it . Some real top advice and tips . Well as the chipper was down I decided to have the day off . I cleared it with customer and settled down to afternoon of problems or so I thought . We changed a lot of wiring and spade connectors , cleaned connections. We also used the compressor to blow away any water .All done and dusted still we could find nothing at fault . So with that we switched the chipper on and hey presto , we,re up and running .yeeeeehaaaaa:001_smile::001_smile:

Well we reduced a sizeable Leylandii hedge today . The chipper is working spot .
