Hello I'm a right I thinking from just this picture this is 'meripilus giganteus' ? Only a few small clusters at the base

 

That's all the info I have until I visit the tree in person (customers sent an email saying it's honey fungus)

Could still be honey fungus, or as is common on ash, Pholiota squarrossa, with the scales washed off...
