No mate and it's not allways the case, my mate did however. We are working in a very 'hot zone' for it and have been taking precautions but it's hard to avoid.

 

I've had to batches of bloodtests now but am still waiting on medication due to carrying on working away.

 

I wouldn't wish it on Dean ;)

i think they do seem to favour some people over others i worked up near Aviemore for a bit and some of my colleagues were getting several ticks a week on them, i didnt get one in four months! but it was scary put something down in the heather and within a minute it would be crawling,

 

wife did a study into tick abundance up there and caught a field mouse that had 116 ticks on it, that was nasty,

 

I hope you get over it soon,
