How do you advertise your logs etc?

Ebay works out about 70p for 30 days but you also get 20 free listings a month so basically free just have to pay if they buy on there but 99% will call you direct so no fees

I set up a facebook page. A basic website via Yell.com which was fairly easy to do and easy to update, costs about £9 a month. (you can pay them to set it up for you)

 

Also put an ad in Gumtree.

 

Have tried local papers but not much success.

 

Best for us is Gumtree & Facebook. or good old Word of mouth.

Hi we use parish magazine /post office advertisement boards but find the best advertisement is word of mouth and sigh written truck.

I'm a buyer not a seller. I responded to a wooden board at the side of the road once which saif "Trailer load of logs £80". So I rang the mobile number and been a customer ever since.
