Got my stove glass today . It was just the inner glass that was cracked . Did not remember that it is double glazed ! Has two 4mm panes separated by a seal .

Dunno ...... Or maybe its because it works on the principal of keeping as much heat in the fire box as possible and heating the body of the stove up rather than leaking it out . Its a Burley Hollywell . Look em up on how they work . Good stove .

I can confirm the glass stays very clean . Some of that is down to low moisture wood I would think .
