Few years back in California I was refuelling car at a "gas" station. Guy at next pump asked me if it was "Renault" I was driving, told him no it was a Chevy. He keeps asking the same question and keeps getting same answer. I'm starting to think this guys eyes are painted on or must be just stupid.

This Q&A session continues until we establish that the chaps query is actually "is that car a rental?" Sometimes accents totally change what the listener hears! Incidentally reason he was asking was that I had pump pipe across back of car and was filling car from opposite side of pump, apparently that's illegal.

Its becoming more and more of a gamble...

so many scams

A friend of mine waved £6k off his drive, the bloke said he'd bank transferred the money- he checked his account- it was in. But didn't realize the bloke got his mate to pay a cheque in, so it showed up on his account- but obviously later withdrew it..

police wont touch it and they know where it is...

I refuse to buy anything that's listed in Scotland now, too.

and the amount of time I see the same picture listed from different accounts...

Anyone else know of any scams?

:confused1:

its hard to find good honest plant for sale now.

He should have looked at his "Available balance" not just "Account balance" the available balance shows cleared funds, not cheques awaiting clearance.
