I have a small section around 1.5-2m longer of oak well I think it's oak!!

 

Prob around 2ft in diameter I wondered if there were any local millers in Shropshire who would like to mill n half the boards with me before I Finnish it up for fire wood!!

 

Apologise for tge crap pics I will clear it before it's worked on !!!

Thanks I logged the rest of the tree and know it was damn hard!!!

 

Is ash good for milling?

 

Yes it can be. Looks like maybe spalted possibly, but general term I believe is "flamed" ash and noted by the pattern internally found when milled
