Ummmmm, yeah, sorry about that! It just happened that I'd seen your post about 20 mins before speaking to Guy and I asked him if he had a course running at the moment!

 

Made me chuckle when he said yes and what the location was!

In woodland I tend to use sapling for obvious self settters

I got all 4 fungal identifications correct (yay!) and feel I did well on the theory paper. So it just depends how I did on my practical - not that confident - feel like I could practise and do better on a retake though :-)

did he use that massive fomes fomentarius like he did for us in August? - Ive only seen small ones on birch in Scotland yrs ago - got it wrong - doh

No, no fomes this time. Bad luck! Mine were mostly lucky guesses, I was not confident in them all
