LJ and RW is not a good combo.

It can work but the LJ is designed specifically for DdRT.

If you specifically want to use a RW, put a Hitch Climber under it.

Otherwise, get a Hitch Hiker or Rope Runner because they designed for the purpose.

Ive heard a few people have made it work. Keen to try this myself. But as Old mill says, the lockjack isnt designed for it. Doesnt mean it wont work though:sneaky2:

Your right Ben, it does work, it just doesn't work at all well.

I tried it several times but the problems were obvious.

I used that setup for a good deal of time. It's great. The lock jack is tested on a single line so.... Plus me and dan did a load of drop tests with one and it survived everything.

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten all that. Those were good tests and videos.

I still think it's not a good set up. None of us use it now so I think that says it all.

I do occasionally. I think it's a great setup, possibly better than the uni once in the canopy. Ascending is it's let down imo
