Bio oils and fuel

I am thinking of selling bio fuels along with bio oil, who uses, would use this?

I voted too costly, although I will use bio-oils on specific sites, in general I use regular mineral products.

We use it, and are thinking of becoming dealers for it. We have used it now for 18 months, and apart from having to change some diaphrams in the carb's, and adjust them, we have had no ill effects. All our saws are Stihl. It removes the idiot element of mixing two stroke oil and having tail ends putting red diesel in the saws (again!!) But it is around double the cost of normal petrol. We even use bio traffic film remover for our steam cleaners.

I use bio oil. It costs twice that of mineral, I think. I'm not planning to use petrol, as I don't feel I can stretch to doubling my fuel costs as well, unless some of my clients indicate that they will accept the higher cost.

Idont use either unless we have to on sensitive sites etc.

 

The fuel costs too much and from what I can see the bio oil isnt very good for your health, no good saving the planet if it will kill you!

What have you heard about the bio oil?

Well its only what ive read and I think it was on this site but it can contain some nasty bacteria or fungi because the stuff can grow on it unlike mineral oil which is sterile. Apparently it can lead to infections in wounds and cause respiratory problems.

 

As I say only what ive read, I did try to look into it further but couldnt find much so gave up

 

Anyway its a good enough excuse for me not to put my hand in my pocket

It doesnt work out that expensive, when you work out your time for repairing saws through poor mix, going to the garage, etc
