I don't use any livery on my normal 4x4 or trailer - don't want the wrong people seeing it and following me home to scope the place. Perhaps I'm being paranoid!

My wife has the business on her spare wheel cover and it has gotten us work, normally whilst she's filling up at the petrol station; people either ask her for a card of write the number down.

I'd say go for it, worth a punt

I get loads of people calling me because they've seen the signs on our vehicles.

Remember for every baddie out there there are loads of decent potential customers.

It is said by the marketing bods that if a potential customer sees your 'brand' in more than one place then you stand out, so one viewing of your van, and one elsewhere (your web-site/ad in the paper/flyer/recommendation) and away you go.

Maybe just seeing your van more than once!

The only thing to watch is you could get a bit more attention from vosa when towing as you cant really say its private. I used a written cover on our old d2 its a good way to advertise without fading the body work.
