Squirrel Hoppers

Recommended Posts

I have sourced the hoppers and the use of warfarin appears to be ok until 30th September so I now need to source the warfarin. I was hoping to mix my own but can't find anyone selling the liquid warfarin but cant find any suppliers (even through Killgerm?). Any one bought this stuff and if so, where from? What a grey area - excuse the pun!!

It was not allowed to be offered for sale after September 2014, existing holdings may be used till Sept 15. In any case hoopers should only be used May to June, if it's to control bark stripping, as it's the excess males that chiefly do the stripping.

Thanks for that - it explains why I cant find it anywhere! Thats interesting about when to use it as the FC guidance I think talks about them being used and effective from March upto August.

So - plan b, has anyone got any excess warfarin in the Dorset area that they are unlikely to use by 30th September 2015??
