Vulture Rescue - Tree Climbing in Nepal

I was a part of this project working with the RSPB a few months back.

This was the best thing I have ever done in my life!

That was cool to see some photos like that mate, I spent 2 months in Nepal a few years back trekking etc.The people are amonst the friendliest I have met anywhere in the world - 'namaste'.

How did you end up rescuing the vulture for the RSPB?

Yeah Nepal is a great place with great people. I am keen to go back.

 

It was pretty much the right time and right place for gettin involved with the RSPB work. A few years back I was on an IRATA course and one of the trainees was the project manager for vulture conservation with the RSPB, it all started from then.

 

Did you go to Pokhara?

I did the everest trek 10 years ago. Incredible country and people. any chance of a link on this as I've promised the wife a trip one day, good excuse to go back.

 

Jiri to base camp and back 15 days (one day off)....beat that!
