I'm guessing the diaphragm is O.K or it would be leaking.

 

My C.P has a knob inside to change between High and Low pressure.

 

It works a bit like a bayonette light bulb so H compresses the relief valve spring a bit more than L.

 

The plastic pipe that the knob fits on corroded ,causing the knob to pop up and create no pressure.

 

Is yours like that ?

Buy a service kit for it, will have all the o rings etc you need to get it back up and running correctly

Vasaline the 0 rings - really helps. Save money on the kits sold with spares by buying in latex O rings. Latex last longer.

Finaly got round to doing this today, it was a small rubber washer that had come adrift, having pulled over a small metal washer & screw. Now re-attached using a larger washer, & its back working again.
