Gents, Has any one used Geo fix for pointing a patio ? I repointed a customers patio a couple of weeks ago, got a call and to my disbelief all the jointing compound has come loose. It has set hard but not keyed into the paving joints.... So today I am raking it all out and starting again at my own cost. Any one had any problems with this product .

Avoid at all costs. Over on paving expert where I am a member, this topic has been done to death. It does not last the course. If you want a product that you can sweep in, use easijoint. It needs to be wet to use it so ideal if its raining. Have used it for three years now, without any come back.

Thanks for the link. I will post some photos later this evening but the lot came out easy as !!! Local building supplier claims its because the slabs are v jointed ????? and its difficult to get a good bond. The patio is old and has been down years and when laid it was never pointed.. the customer just wants it pointed to supress the weeds growing.
