We now have to carry out a risk assessment on our shoot (3500 acres), if I deem it too dodgey to go into woodland I re-arrange the drives to avoid them. I also have to give a scripted brief to the guns and beaters before we start

 

Last year that exact thing happened and one other day was nearly cancelled because of fog.

 

In todays society everything is being squeezed by the claim culture

I was just being light hearted, but unfortunately you are right. We have to do the same.

 

Common sense is no longer allowed to prevail, even when your having a day away from work.:sad:
