Pneumatic nailer

Looking for a pneumatic nail gun to run off a compressor, as the pasloade ive got seems to be expensive for nails in comparison. what would you recommend?

Depends on what type you want, strip or coil. Personally i would go bostich like mr varty, but machine mart do a nice little coil nailer for about £150, which is a good little thing.

What size nails does that take? and whats the magazine capacity? i used a big old thing years ago that took a huge coil of nails, good for continuous working but not for your shoulder lol

I use 45mm galvanized nails on a coil, the max is 50mm, I think there is 150 nails per coil

the coil nailer in machine mart takes between 44 - 70mm nails. They also do a strip nail version.

Thats not bad, would probably still use the pasloade for fixing rails and pneumatic for boards. last job we did i put over 4000 nails in the boards alone! so would be cheaper.

i just bought a tacwise coil nailer. nail sizes from 32mm to 67mm. How have i managed soo long without one!!

Dewalt were selling the first totally cordless (no gas cartriges) nailer, anyone used one?

Ditto i use our pasloade for everything, sure beats the old hammer
