I agree with those that do not think using a MEWP as a crane is a good idea. What about the PUWER regs. The MEWP is not designed or provided as a crane.

 

But here is one pic of a machine that was great for a days hedging at a manor house with manor house sized hedges . Last time we used one of these from a different company who supplied the operator .I swore I would never use one again, but I did and realised that it was the operator who was cr@p not the machine.

 

The hedge was not the one shown but pleached hornbeams trimmed to form square standard trees. 12'x12' I'll find a pic...
