Sorry to hear it was your turn, I have night vision cameras with built in activation alarm. It got pinged a few weeks back in the middle of the night and a figure was seen in the wood yard area we discharged a whole box of cartridges in every direction possible, Still waiting for them to return.....

I did actually a few years ago, but I was refering to the OP. Not enough resources for rural crime yet miles out of town. Camera vans and sneaky officers hiding until the last minute.
