Hi-lift wedges

I found the plastic shafts take quite a lot of the shock/drive out when hammering them in

 

 

I've had that when I've hit the hinge, good indication that more cutting is required

doubt the plastic shaft will need rings as it's that hard to be honest!!!

Doesn't NEED them but I think rings will make them almost indestructible! Found they do lose the odd splinter of nylon. Also after using several different weights of hammer I found that heavier (over 2.8kg) ones tended to make the shaft jump out of the wedge!
