They will swap like for like categories, you have 12 months on a non UK licence but if you are going to be driving anything other than a car make sure the licence clearly covers you for the categories you are driving.

Otherwise they might decide they cant decide and decide to issue a summons and let the courts decide.:laugh1:

This is what i have..

Class 2 – medium rigid vehicle

Class 2 is the medium rigid vehicle licence. A holder of a Class 2 learner or full licence can drive:

any rigid vehicle with a GLW of more than 6000kg but not more than 18,000kg

a combination vehicle (that is not a tractor/trailer combination) with a GCW of 12,000kg or less

a combination vehicle consisting of a rigid vehicle (that is not a tractor) with a GLW of not more than 18,000kg towing a light trailer

a rigid vehicle with a GLW of more than 18,000kg that has no more than two axles

a tractor with a GLW of more than 6000kg but not more than 18,000kg if driven at speed exceeding 30km/h

any vehicle covered in Class 1.

I would email the DVLA and ask them what they will swap that for
