£270!!!! :w00t: they've gone up a bit!...I've had a pair of these for 2 years, that I got at the arbshow. They are by far the best chainsaw trousers I've ever had and are still looking good with daily climbing use. You get what you pay for...and they ARE cooler. We are a bit of a captive audience when it comes to the price of this PPE

Brilliant in every respect but way too hot! much hotter than the original stretchairs in my opinion. I'm thinking of keeping them as winter trousers and getting something else for summer!

You sure your talking about the right ones? Vents are insanely thin and as these things go about as cool as they get.

Normal Gladiators though with the waterproof fronts do mean you end up feeling like boil in the bag rice. I wanted the normal Glads for the tick guards only they do not do them without waterproof fronts, even the non chainsaw Glads have water proof fronts and are to hot to wear in summer.

Guess I'll go back to Sip progress sans protection for um pruning jobs easily on par with Pfanner if not better.

Well I think so. They are type c and have the words Gladiator Ventilation on them..... Got them at the arb show and was sold them on the basis these were the daddy! Wish i'd stuck with the normal Pfanner type c.

I think I'll be trying out the sip next, heard good things

Hmm, are they class 2's? I only wear type A personally I'd rather not wear any chainsaw trousers, but if I have to these are the lightest most comfortable ones I have tried.

The SIP progress I have are also very good and tough just to hot and heavy compared to the glad vents so only come out in winter.
