CS32? - East Anglia

Is it even still called that? Not sure but Im looking to do the "bigger tree assessment"

 

I believe 32 and 33 used to be medium and large trees? But now, probably due to there not being any large trees left to practice on, its just "trees over XXcm" ?

 

Anyway Id like to gain the bigger felling ticket, whatever it is or called now and am based in Suffolk so looking for short course and assessment, locally if possible but travel isn't an issue.

 

Any pointers to get it done would be great.

Otley , Easton, Lark Valley, Andy Campbell, Chalkie White or any other provider could sort cs32, plenty o trees big enough for cs33 was a pointless excercise as you were just repeating the same techniques ona bigger tree, s'a doddle! : )

Fired an email off to Otley/Easton last week but didnt get back, will try calling them tomorrow.

 

Never been asked about it before but was 2 weeks ago by a contractor, which then got me thinking about my insurance and liabilitys etc

Thinking about it one of the guys who subs for me wants to do 32, so could maybe organise training course for 2 to 4 ? I will speak to friend who trains at Easton if your interested?

Interested with enough notice plus I know of one other. BTS do CS32 when numbers warrant it. Dont waste your time asking Otley.

Don't know what's goin on with Otley, they certainly hav enough gear compared with therir 'partner' Easton! Will make enquiries n be in touch!
