Might be a silly suggestion my p10 has an adjustable valve on the pipe make sure that's open. When new ours struggled to lift the weight (jcb8015) applied plenty of spray on grease and moved it with post driver nearly flat to help it get going. Another thing it does is not lift the weight and plate if only 1 chain attached as it pulls it of square and binds. Been using ours all day but did struggle with 8ft x 8inch strainers!
