Hi, Trying to0 connect up hydraulics on the mini digger. When ever I press the foot button there is an engine note change (labouring) but nothing, is there a valve/switch somewhere?

Have you felt the connected hoses?

 

You should feel the hydraulic fluid being pumped in when you press the foot pedal.

sounds stupid but

have you tride conecting it up to the opposite auxillary pipe ?

if the post knocker has 1 hose make sure you are connecting it to the feed and not the tank return

Might be a silly suggestion my p10 has an adjustable valve on the pipe make sure that's open. When new ours struggled to lift the weight (jcb8015) applied plenty of spray on grease and moved it with post driver nearly flat to help it get going. Another thing it does is not lift the weight and plate if only 1 chain attached as it pulls it of square and binds. Been using ours all day but did struggle with 8ft x 8inch strainers!

stick a gauge on the hose and see if your getting pressure out of the quick coupling
