Ok, so he's forcing the small log a bit. Whereas the petrol one was demonstrated with slightly heavier logs, so their weight was enough to carry each piece down though the cut on its own. I don't see it as being that bad.

i like the idea, he seems to have to push pretty hard which seems like an accident waiting to happen. the petrol one somehow seemed safer.

 

thing is, is it actually a time saver? i don't really struggle cutting up wood?

 

LOL, it's a competition tool! They do this a lot in the US and Oz. Hence saws like the legendary V8-powered Predator.

 

If you ask me, the Predator is the winner here. At least it's hand-held - of a fashion!
