Not what this thread was about but . . .

As you said it's actually quite helpful to read about a bunch of others experience with shoulder surgery. I'd be interested in how it goes throughout the recovery for all of you guys really, given I'm about to go that way myself.

I guess all you can do is exactly what the doctor/physio tells you and trust in their experience. Motion is my major concern too though, I may never footlock again but it's gotta be better than what I'm dealing with now...

Arb trader add is there for the 150 anyway...

Still not got a date for my op but will happen before October I'm told.

Was using a mates 150 the other week, it was pants, of course, so I mentioned drilling the exhaust to him and he did it without question. I didn't expect such a difference, it's a totally different saw! Actually useful! Since I can't actually use a handsaw now I may have to bite the bullet and buy a new one, but it seems a kinda worthwhile investment now...

That sounds good man, you're just over 3 months post op now right? I guess work is kinda out the question at that stage, but a bit of climbing will do wonders for the head no doubt. Keep posted on how it goes! I'm dreading trying to keep myself occupied during recovery, books?

3 months today. I can't see any work being done for a while yet but it was good to be up. Mostly I got in the way and took a few photos.

I found doing everything slowly is a good way to eat up time, it might sound stupid but it worked for me! First few weeks I was too drugged to concentrate on books or TV, was kind of just in a daze. I walked a lot, though it took time to build it up, the motion hurt after a while.

Keep us posted on how you get on with yours
