new tipper pump spec

I need a new tipprer pump for my 127, it needs to be 12v with a single outlet/inlet fitting and be capable of tipping about 2 ton. What sort of spec should i be looking for as in litres per minute, fluid capacity and working pressure? If anyone can directly recomend a particular one that would be great. Thanks, william.

Flowfit are probably your best bet.

Your main concern would be capacity of the tank matching the ram size.

Are they likely to be any good though, seems a bit too cheap to me? I suppose the easiest way for me to work out the literage i need would be to use a tape measure on my old tank:lol:

I fitted one of these to my ifor williams tipping trailer as the original was knackered, worked great, easy to fit too.

Not got it anymore, it was the 8x5. Had a big ram on it, had it loaded with wood. always tipped fine, had greedy boards fitted to it, used to load it right to the top!

I got the one with the bigger tank, 8l I think it was.

The 8 x 5 is 2700kg gw i believe, so fully loaded i guess the tipper would be lifting 2 tonne, so about what im after. I think i might order 1,as at that price i dont really have much to loose.

Find out how much your old one holds or calculate how much the ram holds, if you want to be sure before you order

Yes i will definatley do that before i order, no point getting someting that wrong!
