Removing rollers on tw150 and changing both anvils??

Hi there,

 

Can anyone tell me what needs to be done to remove the rollers? i want to just tickle them on the grinder.

 

Also is it possible to check/change both anvils without major strip?

There are torx bolts holding the roller blades on, clean em out and take em off. The anvils are pretty easy to do, take roller box off and there is one there.

If you take the hopper off you can tickle the rollers up without removing them.

Can you physically turn the rollers to get them all done?

Yes grab hold with gloves and turn. Mine do so I hope yours do or mine might be frier tucked.

You might know this but just in case you don't. You can remove the springs and lift the top roller up and prop it up with a chunk off 4x2 to give you more access.

Chippers love TLC mate, give it a grease and make sure you keep the blades and anvils sharp.

Right its in bits, i can turn the little anvil, but big ones goosed so changing that.

 

Anyone know the torque settings for them?

 

Looked on my tw150 service n parts pdf but no nm figures etc

 

I take it a bit of lock tite is a worth while thing (removable)
