Thanks again for those pics. I really want a balloon ride now. I'm told that it is silent as you are moving with the wind aswell (obviously excluding burner sound!)

 

What was the castle?

 

it is silent. thats how we could hear people below talking.

 

we saw flying grass too as it rose in the thermals

 

the castle is Raglan Castle

 

its not cheap... around £120 and you have to be prepared to have the flights cancelled and re booked due to bad weather

 

BUT it is well worth it................do it, do it, do it.:001_tongue::001_tongue:

Took off in the grounds of Shuttleworth College Bedfordshire. Landed about 15 miles away in Ashwell. At speed. In a field. On our side!!!:scared1: Bloody good fun though!!

 

When we were over the A1, The pilot told everyone to get their camera etc ready and opened up all the vents on one side and we spun 360' on the spot, just as the sun was starting to set. Absolutely amazing. I've still got a few more pics but the old computer is taking its time tonight!!:001_smile:
