At the moment I have an oregon helmet and visor. I find that the mesh is too fine and when it rains the mesh clogs up with water. Can anyone recommend a system with a larger mesh aperture?

Get a Husqvarna or Stihl branded lid. Never had a problem with either, though I prefer the Husqvarna lids.

They newer style husqvarna visors are about the best I've used in the rain, but they'll still hold water at times. I find if it's causing a problem, don't wipe at it, just flick the visor up then back down again and it should shed a good amount of it. Or just sit in drinking tea when it's raining :thumbup1:

if its raining i put the visor up to catch the rain and put a pair of specs on almost makes u forget its raing sometimes

that or just nock it up and down like chris said it becomes habit after a while
