MS200 retune after new carb kit fitted!

Hi Peeps,

Could do with an assist regarding an issue I'm currently having trying to retune my MS200 after solvent cleaning my carb (Zama) and fitting a new carb kit.

Saw starts up OK, but I'm really struggling to get it to idle properly. Its either revving its bollox off and chain running like the clappers, or it just stalls. Constantly trying to reset screws to factory setting and just can't seem to find the middle ground, its either to much or not enough!!!

What am I missing? :confused1:

Many thanks.

What have you done so far ? Turn the H & L screws in till they seat (lightly, don't wrench them in or you'll knacker the seats) then turn them out about 1 to 1.25 full turns. Turn the tick over screw in to speed it up and start the saw. Run it till it warms up then slow the tick over down and tweak the L screw in till it speeds up and out till it bogs then go about half way in between then redo the tick over to where it doesn't throw the clutch in. Watch a couple of youtubes on setting a saw carb and you'll get the idea of what you are looking to do.
